  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and shrimp; cook until shrimp turn pink and opaque (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Pour in heavy cream and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and combined into the sauce.
  5. Toss cooked fettuccine with the sauce, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Plate the dish, garnish with parsley if desired, and enjoy!
