Ingredients

  • 8 oz sushi-grade salmon, diced
  • 1 tbsp shallots, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp capers, rinsed and chopped
  • 1 tbsp chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse the salmon under cold water and pat dry.
  2. Dice the salmon into small uniform cubes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine diced salmon with shallots, capers, chives, lime juice, and olive oil.
  4. Season with salt and pepper; mix gently until well combined.
  5. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
  6. Plate using a ring mold or shape by hand; garnish with extra chives if desired.
  7. Serve immediately with crispy crackers or toasted baguette slices.
