  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cups French fries (frozen or homemade)
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, vinegar, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add sliced flank steak and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Sauté Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add red onions and cook until translucent (about 3 minutes), then add diced tomatoes and cook until softened.
  3. 3. Cook Steak: Increase heat to high and add marinated steak to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned on all sides.
  4. 4. Combine & Serve: Toss in crispy French fries and chopped cilantro. Mix gently and serve immediately with extra cilantro as garnish.
