  3. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise at room temperature for 4-6 hours or until doubled in size.
  5. Deflate the dough gently, shape it into your desired loaf form, and let it rise for another 1-2 hours while preheating the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
