  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 green chilies, chopped (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix yogurt, garlic-ginger paste, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice. Add chicken pieces and coat well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Add Spices: Stir in garlic-ginger paste and green chilies; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Create the Sauce: Add canned tomatoes and coconut milk or cream; stir and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Cook the Chicken: Add marinated chicken to the sauce; cover and simmer for approximately 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Finish with Freshness: Stir in chopped cilantro just before serving.
