  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese (optional)
  • lettuce, tomato, pickles (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground halal beef, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well using your hands.
  3. Shape the mixture into four equal patties, about ¾ inch thick; make a small indentation in the center of each patty.
  4. Grill the patties for 5-7 minutes per side until they reach your desired doneness.
  5. If using cheese, add a slice on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest briefly before assembling with buns and preferred toppings.
