Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 large egg
  • 28 oz canned San Marzano tomatoes
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Shape the Meatballs: Roll into balls about 1 inch in diameter and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Sear the Meatballs: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the meatballs in batches for about 5-7 minutes each.
