Ingredients

  • Thick slices of brioche or challah bread
  • Full-fat cream cheese
  • Fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • Large eggs
  • Whole milk
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Pure vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

  2. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Spread the strawberry cheesecake mixture between two slices of bread to create sandwiches. Repeat until all filling is used.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat; add butter until melted but not browned.
  5. Cook each stuffed sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar and topped with additional strawberries and whipped cream if desired.
