Description

Cheesecake stuffed chocolate chip cookies are a decadent fusion of rich cheesecake and gooey chocolate, perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings.


Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Brown Sugar
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Baking Soda
  • Salt
  • Eggs
  • Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Cream Cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Gradually mix in sifted all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  4. For the cheesecake filling, blend cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest (if using) until smooth.
  5. Scoop about a tablespoon of cookie dough, flatten it in your palm, and place a teaspoon of cheesecake filling in the center. Wrap the dough around the filling and roll into a ball.
  6. Place on the prepared baking sheets with space between each ball. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown at the edges but soft in the center.
  7. Allow to cool briefly on sheets before transferring to wire racks.
