Description

Tzatziki sauce is a creamy, refreshing dip made with Greek yogurt, cucumbers, and garlic. It’s perfect for pairing with grilled meats or fresh vegetables, elevating any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium seedless cucumber
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the cucumber, slice in half lengthwise, and scoop out the seeds. Grate finely and squeeze out excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.
  2. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Taste your tzatziki and adjust seasoning if needed.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled with grilled meats or fresh vegetables.
