Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine cooked rice, milk, sugar, salt, and cinnamon over medium heat. Stir until heated through.
- Once bubbling at the edges, add vanilla and optional raisins. Stir to combine.
- Lower heat to medium-low and simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
- Adjust sweetness and consistency by adding more sugar or milk as desired.
- Remove from heat, stir in butter if using, and serve warm or chilled with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
