Ingredients

  • Ribeye Steak
  • Fresh Baguette
  • Sautéed Onions
  • Provolone or Cheddar Cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • Fresh Herbs (Parsley or Arugula)
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Season ribeye with salt and pepper; let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear ribeye for 4–5 minutes per side until browned to your liking.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté sliced onions over medium heat until golden brown (about 10 minutes).
  4. Just before removing steak from heat, add cheese slices on top to melt.
  5. Slice the baguette lengthwise; toast under the broiler for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Spread mayonnaise on both halves of the baguette. Layer with sautéed onions, steak slices, melted cheese, and fresh herbs before closing.
