Instructions

  1. Rinse 1 cup of long-grain rice under cold water until clear.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the rinsed rice with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 18 minutes until water is absorbed.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of butter until melted.
