Ingredients

  • 2 racks pork ribs (baby back or spare)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar (for sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-low heat (225°F/107°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of each rib rack.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture over both sides of the ribs.
  4. Place the seasoned ribs on the grill bone-side down and cook undisturbed for about 3 hours.
  5. After 3 hours, brush barbecue sauce generously over both sides of the ribs and let them cook for an additional hour.
  6. Remove from heat, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve with your favorite sides.
